Sheffield Wednesday have made a positive start to the new season and are currently ninth in the Championship table after winning four of their opening seven league matches.

The Owls will be looking to continue their momentum with another three points against Fulham this weekend, in new manager Garry Monk's first game in charge at Hillsborough.

The Verdict

This is good news for Sheffield Wednesday. Hutchinson is an experienced player, so for him to admit that this is his best ever start to a season shows just how well he's playing and that he's full of confidence at the moment.

He's struggled with injury problems throughout his career, but for him to say he feels as fit as he's ever been is a major boost for the Owls.

Hutchinson will now be determined to continue his good form and convince his new manager that he deserves to keep his place in the side.
