Salford City have announced that Jake Beesley has left the club to Vanarama National League side Solihull Moors on a loan deal until the end of January.

Beesley has made seven appearances so far in League Two, but has been sent out on loan to find regular game time.

He scored twice this season, so it might come as a slight surprise to see him leaving Salford City having featured already for Graham Alexander's side.

The 22-year-old signed for the Ammies in 2017 following his release from Chesterfield.

But he spent last year's league campaign on loan at Bradford Park Avenue, where he proved to be a real success, scoring 20 goals.

He certainly caught the eye with Salford City when he returned to Peninsula Stadium, but it seems as though he isn't in Alexander's plans for the season as they look to adjust to life in the Football League.

Beesley will be hoping that he can make an instant impact, when Solihull Moors take on Sutton United on Tuesday evening in the National League.

The Verdict:

This is the best move for both parties involved.

Beesley hasn't been featuring as much as he would have liked to this season in League Two, so it's a smart move by the club to find him regular game time in the National League.

Solihull Moors are a club that are likely to be challenging for promotion into the Football League themselves so Beesley will be hoping that he can come back a better player for Salford in the New Year.
