Elland Road was bouncing on Friday night as Leeds United beat West Bromwich Albion 4-0 to make a real statement at the top of the Sky Bet Championship.

Leeds opened the scoring after just 17 seconds through Pablo Hernandez, which elevated the atmosphere. From there, a Patrick Bamford brace either side of half-time, plus Ezgjan Alioski’s goal, secured an emphatic win.

The atmosphere at Elland Road was at its best and it has left Leeds fans debating whether things would be so good if they did eventually make it back to the Premier League, with footage of the West Ham fans at the London Stadium only adding to that debate.

West Ham’s supporters can create a great atmosphere, but footage from their official Twitter account following Declan Rice’s opener against Newcastle on Saturday told a different story.

Of course, it’s only 19 seconds that have been captured, but Leeds’ supporters have had plenty to say about it…
