‘Sack him’, ‘Useless’ – Plenty of Ipswich Town fans call for action to be taken after defeat to Sunderland

Ipswich Town’s poor run of form continued as they were narrowly beaten 1-0 by promotion rivals Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Saturday.

The Tractor Boys started the game brightly, but were left frustrated as Chris Maguire’s goal nine minutes from time proved to be the difference.

The defeat for Paul Lambert’s side means they’ve now lost their last three league games, which has seen them drop out of the play-off positions.

Sunderland have also moved ahead of Ipswich in the league table, and Town supporters will be hoping their side can get back to winning ways at the earliest of opportunities.

But after such a strong start to this year’s campaign, plenty of Ipswich Town supporters have seemingly lost patience with Lambert, and are calling for him to be dismissed in the near future.

Take a look at the best of the reaction from social media to the defeat against Sunderland below….
