Nottingham Forest will be looking for their sixth away win of the Sky Bet Championship season tomorrow night, but they face a tough game against Millwall.

The Reds have made a promising start to the season under Sabri Lamouchi and are currently fourth in the league table.

A victory at The Den tomorrow night will move them to within three points of the automatic promotion places and Lamouchi has delviered an injury update ahead of the clash.

The Forest head coach has has confirmed that Carl Jenkinson, Samba Sow and Yuri Ribeiro will all miss the game.

Right-back Jenkinson has not played for Forest since suffering an ankle injury in the 1-1 draw with Preston at the end of August, while defensive midfielder Sow has missed the Reds' last seven matches with a hamstring injury.

Lamouchi has confirmed that both players are expected to return soon, although the game against Millwall tomorrow night will come too soon for them.

Speaking to Nottinghamshire Live, the Forest boss admitted that he is hopeful the duo will be able to return for the game against Middlesbrough next Tuesday night, or the clash with Sheffield Wednesday a week on Saturday.

He said: “Carl Jenkinson is much better and Samba Sow is much better, but Millwall is too early.”

“They need a few days, but will probably be okay for Middlesbrough or Sheffield Wednesday, for sure.”

Left-back Ribeiro has missed the last three matches for Forest with a knee injury.

When asked if the Portuguese defender will be available to face Millwall, Lamouchi added: “Not yet, he will be a few days again, unfortunately. Maybe he will be next week, but we will see.”

The Verdict

Forest have made a promising start to the season under Lamouchi, but it will be a major boost for the Frenchman when the likes of Jenkinson, Sow and Ribeiro are able to return to action.

Sow in particular has been outstanding for the Reds so far this season - Forest have really missed his presence in midfield over the past few matches and he'll be a big miss for the game against Millwall.

It's good news that the trio are expected to return soon and all three of them will be determined to make an impact when they make their respective comebacks.
