Nottingham Forest will be looking to build upon their recent victory over Barnsley when they head to St Andrew's to face Birmingham City in the Championship tomorrow.

After guiding his side to a draw in their clash with Millwall in his first game in charge, Reds manager Steve Cooper oversaw a superb performance at Oakwell earlier this week.

Forest clinched a 3-1 victory over the Tykes thanks to goals from Brennan Johnson, Philip Zinckernagel and Lewis Grabban.

When you consider just how impressive the Reds were during the second-half of this clash, it will be intriguing to see whether Cooper decides to make any alterations to his starting eleven tomorrow.

Here, we take a look at how Forest could line up against Birmingham...

Having utilised the 3-4-2-1 formation against Barnsley, Cooper is likely to stick with his particular set up for Saturday's showdown with Birmingham.

Forest goalkeeper Brice Samba will be aiming to claim his second clean-sheet of the season in this particular fixture.

Joe Worrall, Scott McKenna and Tobias Figueiredo will be tasked with keeping the likes of Troy Deeney and Scott Hogan quiet whilst Djed Spence and Max Lowe are set to occupy the wing-back roles.

James Garner will be accompanied in the heart of midfield by Ryan Yates who produced an impressive performance against Barnsley on Wednesday.

The 23-year-old won three aerial duels and produced seven tackles in this clash as he recorded a WhoScored match rating of 7.57.

If Yates replicates this display in tomorrow's meeting with Birmingham, he may be able to help his side seal all three points at St Andrew's.

Johnson and Joe Lolley will feature in attacking midfield for Forest whilst Zinckernagel could be utilised as a centre-forward by Cooper.

When you consider that Zinckernagel has managed to provide four direct goal contributions in the Championship this season, it wouldn't be at all surprising if he adds to this particular tally against a Birmingham side who have lost three of their last four league games.
