Plymouth Argyle midfielder Ryan Broom has admitted that this Pilgrims side is the best team he has ever played with, during an interview with Plymouth Live.
Broom, who is currently on loan with the early League One pacesetters from Peterborough United, has scored three goals and chipped in with a further five assists in 17 appearances this season, with 15 of those coming from the very start.
The Pilgrims have not been defeated in the league since a 2-0 loss in the first game of the season at Rotherham United, accumulating 36 points from their opening 17 matches.

Speaking to Plymouth Live about the club’s start to the season, Broom said: “I played in a good team at Cheltenham but this is a brilliant team. The way the Gaffer (Lowe) sets us up is excellent and I’m really enjoying playing in it.
“It’s a great group of lads more importantly. With the characters in the squad it just great to be around them. It’s probably the best team I have played in.”
Plymouth have been excellent at the start of this campaign and considering their slump at the end of last season and the standard of the division seemingly improving over the summer, Ryan Lowe can be extremely proud of what Argyle are achieving at the moment.
However, he will be determined to keep their unbeaten run going and try to secure a spot in next season’s Championship.
Broom has been an excellent addition at Home Park since his temporary move from Peterborough United and given his influence and importance at the top end of League One, it will be interesting to see if the Championship club looks to integrate him back into the Posh side, or even cut his loan deal short.
Broom has been extremely vital in the opening exchanges of this campaign and Plymouth have every chance of succeeding this season.
