On-loan Middlesbrough winger believes the final six games are like cup finals for York City.

York City are currently 8th in the Sky Bet League Two table and they are on a 12-game unbeaten run in the league.

"They are all cup finals for us. At the end of it we could well be in a cup final," Brobbel said.

record tested as they face league-leaders Rochdale at Spotland.

"It’s going to be one of the toughest away games of the season, but the run we are on now we can go there and get a good result," Brobbel told the club's official website.

Brobbel has thanked the York fans for the way they have taken to him since he arrived.

"The support at York has always been good and when I was here first time, even when we weren’t winning games, the fans were still coming to the game," Brobbel said.

York do have a difficult end to the season with Rochdale, Oxford United and Scunthorpe United still to play. But given there recent form, they are side worth backing in the playoff race.

Brobbel said: "Everyone is so much more confident and there are a few different faces to last time. The team spirit is really high and we all just want to push on."
