The international break has seen some of the stars of Norwich City’s promotion-chasing side refocus to try and aid their respective nations to positive starts in their EURO 2020 qualifiers.
The rounds of matches to reach the tournament next summer kicked off this past weekend with matchday one and two both compete for many countries.
Scotland is one who have had played both their games in qualifying for this month, having lost to Kazakhstan at the weekend before heading to San Marino yesterday evening.
Alex McLeish’s men won 2-0 to pick up their first three points of qualifying.
Kenny McLean started for the Scots and opened the scoring early on with a deft header into the far corner in what looked like it would be a routine win for the Tartan Army.
But the result was laboured in truth.
McLean impressed throughout with his performance starting well with the goal and continued after that.
His club confidence has been transferred to the international stage and looks to be full of it still with the Championship set to resume this weekend.
With that said, here’s how some of the Norwich supporters reacted to their midfielder’s performance in Scotland’s win over San Marino on Sunday evening.
Only San Marino but a goal an Kenny McLean is running the show. Positive. ???? #ncfc

Scotland being frustrated so far. San Marino very hard to get in behind. Good to see #NCFC’s Kenny McLean bag a very tidy first international goal. ????????
