Wolves' relationship with super-agent Jorge Mendes is once again coming under the spotlight with several Premier League clubs planning 'urgent talks' to see if it represents a conflict of interest.

Fosun, who own the Championship leaders, also own a small stake in Mendes' agency, and he acts as an advisor to the club on their transfer dealings.

Given that, he has been essential bringing in the likes of Ruben Neves, Diogo Jota and manager Nuno Espirito Santo, who was Mendes' first ever client.

Despite the FA and EFL knowing about this when approving the takeover, several Championship clubs, notably Leeds and Aston Villa, complained that it gave Wolves an unfair advantage in the transfer market.

And, according to the Telegraph, several top-flight clubs share the same concerns, including some of the biggest sides in the country.

Given Wolves have always been open about the role Mendes' plays at the club, fans are becoming increasingly bored with the accusations.
