Marcus Harness has developed a good habit of scoring winning goals for Portsmouth after their 2-1 win over AFC Wimbledon on Saturday.

The attacker has come in for plenty of praise from supporters on Twitter as he proved to be the match winner once again for Pompey.

The 25 year old netted his 7th league goal of the campaign with his 89th minute winner against Wimbledon which pushed Portsmouth up to 9th and just five points off the playoffs.

Harness has now scored in back to back games with his winner against Wycombe last weekend coming late as well and is proving to be Portsmouth's talisman this season.

It was a closely fought game at Fratton Park as the hosts went 1-0 down thanks to an Ollie Palmer penalty. Portsmouth struggled to impose themselves in the first half but came out firing for the second.

Michael Jacobs equalised for the south coast side as he slotted home in the 63rd minute before Harness popped up for the winner with a fine strike from just outside the area in the 89th minute.

The late winner led to praise from Pompey fans on Twitter, here's what they had to say.
