It was a disappointing day for Middlesbrough on Saturday, as they were beaten 2-1 by Blackpool at The Riverside Stadium.
Things initially started well on the day for ‘Boro, as they went 1-0 up with less than ten minutes on the clock when Marcus Tavernier fired in at close range from a corner.
However, Blackpool equalised through Marvin Ekpiteta 17 minutes into the second half, before Grant Hall’s own goal from a corner put the visitors in front with 12 minutes remaining.

Despite their best efforts, ‘Boro were unable to find an equaliser, meaning they have lost three of their eight league games this season, winning just twice.
That means that Neil Warnock’s side currently sit 16th in the Championship table with nine points to their name, leaving a play-off challenge looking unlikely at this moment in time.
With that in mind, many ‘Boro fans were quick to question whether Warnock has now taken the club as far as he can, as they took to Twitter to give their thoughts on the game.
Here, we take a look at what some of those Middlesbrough fans had to say about the club’s manager in the wake of that latest defeat.
The championship has moved on, we are going no where with Warnock. Kieron Scott’s first proper job at the club should be looking for a new manager. #utb

Like Pulis a couple of years ago, I get the feeling Warnock has stayed on too long.

I forever will be appreciative of Warnock and his efforts so far… BUT if things don’t change fast then it might be time for him to go as much as I hate to say it #utb

First half was decent and we could have ended it then. Otherwise we looked hopeless in the second half and it just seems pointless to continue with Warnock for the rest of the season. We have the squad, so where are the results? Derby are above us ffs#boro #utb

Another thoroughly depressing performance. Poor defensively, no urgency in our play, no pressing when the opposition have the ball. You can’t set a team up to play like that at home. Warnock out, let’s get someone in and a plan for the long term. #boro #UTB

Our results since January have simply not been good enough. Warnock can blame referees and injuries all he wants. I see the talent on the pitch, but that 2nd half capitulation today is becoming a common occurrence. Defensively inept, can’t put games to bed #Boro #UTB

Is Eddie Howe or Chris Wilder doing anything for the rest of season #UTB as much as I want it to work for Warnock something’s misfiring

Cheerio Warnock time to move on #UTB

What an awful performance by #Boro today against a poor Blackpool side. All these new signings have brought promise, but Warnock is running out of time at this point. Two wins from eight, and one of them against the 24th place team in the league. Shocking. #UTB
