Nottingham Forest have had their fair share of players that haven't hit the heights originally expected of them at The City Ground over the years. 

One player that fits that description well is Rafa Mir, who arrived on loan at Forest from Wolves in the summer of 2019.

The striker caught the eye earlier in his career with strong performances for the Valencia B team, and even went on to feature for their first team, and for Wolves briefly.

But he struggled to force his way into the Nottingham Forest starting XI throughout his time with the club, and only made 13 appearances in total before having his loan spell cut short in January's transfer window.

Mir has since gone on to join Spanish side Huesca, and will be hoping to finish this year's campaign strongly when deemed safe enough to do so.

Sabri Lamouchi's Forest side are currently sat fifth in the Championship table, and will be keen to hold their nerve in the race for promotion into the Premier League this term.
