It has been reported that Millwall are keeping an eye on 23-year-old Derby County attacker Mason Bennett, according to Football Insider.
The outlet claims the south London club are hoping to persuade Bennett to make the switch to The Den to aid their hopes of making the play-offs.
Lions boss Gary Rowett has the advantage of working with the player previously while in charge at Derby from 2017 to 2018. Bennett is also out of contract with the Rams at the end of the season.

The 23-year-old has been out of action for almost two months after recovering from ankle surgery. He last featured for Derby in the game against Preston North End on the 23rd November.
The forward has made a total of nine appearances this season for the Rams.
Bennett is likely to return to full fitness at the end of this month for his club. Despite Millwall’s interest and the fact that the 23-year-old’s contract is up at the end of the season, Football Insider also state that Derby are interested in proceeding with talks over a new deal, which could complicate matters for the Lions.
With the advantage that Gary Rowett has of knowing the 23-year-old, Millwall could be a attractive proposition for Bennett if he were to decide to move on.
Bennett’s reputation has been damaged at Derby following the drink-driving incident that saw him and Tom Lawrence fined a total of six weeks’ wages, so it is unclear whether Phillip Cocu sees him as part of his long-term plans.
