It's been another busy day of transfer activity and rumours in the Football League and it's only going to continue as the window rumbles on.

We're seeing plenty of rumours here at Football League World and plenty of deals going through so it can only be time for another of our transfer round-ups.

This time around, then, we start in South Wales with Cardiff City bringing in a potential non-league gem.

Indeed, according to Get West London, the Bluebirds have snapped up young defender Ciaron Brown. The player had already been on trial before with the club and now the deal has been confirmed with him joining from Wealdstone.

Another young defender that could be on the move, meanwhile, is Joe Worrall. The Nottingham Forest star is seriously impressing at the City Ground this season and is apparently attracting Premier League attention. Indeed, the Mirror alleges that Brighton and Burnley are both interested.

It's been a busy day for rumours by the Trent, too, with The Northern Echo claiming that Forest want to sign both Patrick Bamford and Adam Clayton from Middlesbrough. Aitor Karanka obviously knows Boro well but isn't afraid of going on a raid of them.

Meanwhile, Wolves' latest massive transfer scheme appears to have been quashed. It broke last night they were going after AC Milan's Andre Silva in a very eye-opening deal. Pete O'Rourke, though, has helped put the brakes on that with him reporting Massimiliano Mirabello's latest stance:

And, in other striker news, Sheffield Wednesday are going after the sharp shooting Jaime Mata at the moment - according to Pucela Fichajes - though they apparently face competition from Championship rivals Fulham if they want to sign him.
