The transfer window is now in full swing and the 72 clubs in the Football League are certainly going to be busy over the coming weeks trying to strengthen their squads.

The Championship is certainly going to see plenty of moves over the next days and weeks, too, with plenty of stories already coming out about potential transfers and some deals even happening at this early stage.

With that in mind, then, let's take a look at some of the news that has been going on recently, starting off with Leeds.

The Whites have confirmed on their Twitter today that they have signed young Finnish defender Aapo Halme on a four year contract with him dubbed in his home country as the new Sami Hyypia.

Wolves are expected to be busy in the window, meanwhile, and they have been linked recently by the Daily Mail with Rafa Mir of Valencia - another potentially good young player to arrive at the club.

Sheffield United, meanwhile, might see James Hanson go with him linked with a move to Bury. Sky Sports' Transfer Centre (at 11:17) is suggesting that this deal looks likely as Hanson looks to earn himself some more minutes this season.

Speaking of exits, it looks as though QPR are going to see a fair few players leaving this month as they aim to get in line with FFP limits.

As per BBC Sport they have already let Yeni Ngbakoto go back to France with him never really lighting things up at Loftus Road during his time there.

And, finally, another man who looks on the brink of an exit from the Rs - though only temporarily for now - is defender Sean Goss with him looking on track for a loan deal with Rangers - as per BBC Sport.
