The Championship is hurtling towards December with the month kicking off in exciting style as Leeds United host Aston Villa on Friday night.

Ahead of the game and in our news round-up, though, it looks as though there's an issue Leeds are going to have to contend with.

Indeed, as per The Yorkshire Evening Post, Eunan O'Kane is a doubt for the game between the play-off rivals. O'Kane has been a regular presence so far this season for the Whites but it looks as though Ronaldo Vieira and Kalvin Phillips will fill in.

It looks as though, meanwhile, that other midfielder option Mateusz Klich could be off with the same report saying that the player might just head to Holland before too long.

Meanwhile, league leaders Wolves have seen their ex-midfielder Karl Henry lavish praise on them. Speaking to the Bolton News, the former Molineux man revealed that he didn't realise just how good Wolves were until after his Bolton side lost to them 5-1.

Elsewhere with the Black Country side, Conor Coady has expressed his pride at being handed the armband in recent games. The tenacious defender has been a real star this season and with Danny Batth out of the team right now, he told the Express and Star of his delight.

And finally, as in the Nottingham Post, Nottingham Forest have raised close to £4,000 for local children who are at a disadvantage. It's a touch of class from the Reds who raised the money by auctioning off match-worn shirts amongst other things.
