The final Lancashire derby of the season takes place this evening.

Preston North End welcome Blackburn Rovers to Deepdale in a big game for Tony Mowbray’s side's promotion chances.

Rovers need all three points, but Ryan Lowe’s side stand in their way.

Blackburn are currently six points adrift of the top six due to having only won one of their last eight league games.

A defeat away to their local rivals will all but end their chances of earning promotion to the Premier League.

Meanwhile, Preston go into the game 14th in the Championship table, but could move as high as 12th with a win.

Here is how we predict Mowbray will line up his side in a must-win game against Preston this evening…

Reda Khadra has been ruled out of Monday night’s game due to a calf injury.

Mowbray was hopeful the Wolves loanee could make his return to the side after a month on the sidelines, but he is unavailable for selection.

Blackburn flirted with a move to a back four at the weekend against Stoke but will likely stick with the back five system that has been used all campaign.

Joe Rothwell and John Buckley could both return to the centre of midfield, with Bradley Dack another option that could come back into the side.
