According to HITC Sport, Jordan Spence is currently training with Rotherham United with a view to earning a contract with the Championship club.
Jordan Spence has been without a club since leaving MK Dons at the end of the 2015/16 season when his contract expired.
Spence is a versatile defender who can play as a right back or as a centre back.
The former England youth international started his career at West Ham and played ten times for the East London outfit amid a number of loan spells away from Upton Park.
In August 2014, Spence signed a permanent deal with Milton Keynes following two successful loan spells.
He went on to make over 100 appearances in total for MK Dons but has been looking for a club since leaving last summer.
Rotherham’s new manager Kenny Jackett is looking at the 26-year-old and weighing up a move for him in a bid to strengthen the Millers’ defence and lift them off the foot of the table.
Rotherham fans – what do you make of this news? Could Spence be a good signing?
