Rotherham United goalkeeper Lee Camp has been around the Championship long enough to know that the Millers need to improve their results, if they are to maintain their status as a second tier club come the end of the season.

Last Friday night saw the Millers fall to a 2-1 defeat in a South Yorkshire derby to Sheffield Wednesday, with two goals early in the second half putting Neil Redfearn's men to the sword.

Camp signed for the Millers on transfer deadline day earlier in the summer following his release from Premier League Bournemouth where he had been deemed surplus to requirements and the 31-year-old has spoke to Millers Player following Friday's disappointment.

The custodian said: "I thought we completed well in the first half but the goals straight after half-time really set us back.

"The second goal gave them an advantage and it was always going to be an uphill struggle from there, against a strong Wednesday team.

"We have a week now to prepare for the next game so we'll get back to work and get ready for another test at Derby.

"It does hurt. Everyone can say you move on but you don't. It ruined the weekend for sure but eventually you simply have to put it behind you and look towards the next game."

Camp will return to the iPro Stadium on Saturday having started his career with the Rams. He will be hoping for a more joyful occasion than the last time he played on his old stomping ground, after his dismissal last season whilst playing for the Cherries.
