Peterborough United are in the midst of a summer clearout at London Road, and have transfer listed no less than 11 players this summer in an attempt to get them off the books for a fee before they can leave for nothing next year.

Several faces have already moved on, including striker Lee Angol, who has linked up with League Two favourites Mansfield Town, and another is Australian midfielder Brad Inman.

Born in Adelaide before moving back to Britain at the age of 14, Inman linked up with Peterborough only last summer following a successful spell with Crewe, but disaster struck when the player broke his leg in pre season training just weeks after signing for the Posh.

Shipped on loan to Rochdale for the 2017/18 season, Peterborough may live to regret this decision, as Inman has what it takes to fire his new side to the play off spots next year.

Inman was extremely impressive in the middle of the park for Crewe, and in a free scoring Rochdale side boasting the talents of Ian Henderson and Callum Camps, Inman could really find his goalscoring boots at Spotland.

The 6 ft 1 player operates most effectively from the middle of the park, but his driving runs to the edge of the box are a devastating asset, and he will undoubtedly be celebrating a number of goals by May next year.

Inman is entering the peak years of his career, and a successful period on loan with Rochdale presents the perfect opportunity for the player to showcase his talents, and potential earn a move to the Championship.

Rochdale winger Nathaniel Mendez-Laing recently secured a move to Cardiff following an impressive spell in Lancashire, and Inman can use the move to do the same.

If boss Keith Hill can get Inman firing on all cylinders, then he could be the League One signing of the summer.
