Many Ipswich Town fans have taken to Twitter to react to their club’s 0-0 draw with Wycombe Wanderers in League One.
Having failed to win their last three games in all competitions at Portman Road, the Tractor Boys would have been determined to produce a memorable performance last night in front of their own supporters.
However, despite dominating the clash, Ipswich were unable to break down a resilient Wycombe side.
Adebayo Akinfenwa went close to giving the Chairboys the lead in the 26th minute as his effort was kept out by Tractor Boys goalkeeper Tomas Holy.
On the stroke of half-time, Ipswich had a goal disallowed for offside by referee Alan Young who changed his original decision after consulting with linesman Aaron Farmer.
Following the break, Wycombe squandered a fantastic opportunity to seal all three points on their travels as Joe Jacobson’s 87th minute penalty was saved by Holy.
As a result of this draw, the Tractor Boys remain five points behind the Chairboys in the League One standings, albeit having played two games less than their rivals.

Didn’t think we did enough to win. As their keeper didn’t have a save to make. Didn’t think we deserved to lose . Which thankfully we didn’t thanks to great save. Just lack that creative spark to unlock parked buses. Onwards and upwards . Although it was 0-0 I enjoyed this game.

Absolute shambles from the officials, Norwood isn't on it at the moment and the midfield look disjointed need downes back. Other than that we dominated just only really created 1 clear cut chance for Norwood which he should've scored

Shocking refereeing performance.. destroyed the game and both big decisions wrong

Probably because we couldn't muster a single shot on target. Lambert seems to have slipped back into the dull defensive style that will not win us matches. How far have we actually come in a year? Does anyone think we'd even survive back up playing like this?
