Nottingham Forest were once again left unhappy with the officials as they were held to a 0-0 draw at Preston this afternoon.

The Reds were denied all three points in the week after Dwight Gayle dived to win a penalty, that was converted, for West Brom.

And, they felt a late goal from Joe Lolley was wrongly disallowed after the official claimed Ryan Yates had impeded the North End keeper.

Nevertheless, it was a decent point for Forest against a Preston side that had been in very good form themselves recently.

It leaves Martin O'Neill's side four points behind the play-off places, although they have played two games more than some of the sides above them.

However, they recorded their first clean sheet of O'Neill's reign today and will feel confident moving forward, with a game against local rivals Derby up next.
