Rotherham United boss Paul Warne has admitted that it will be 'surreal' to come up against Marcelo Bielsa when his side face Leeds on Saturday.

The Argentinian coach has built a superb reputation over the years due to his attacking style, high-intensity and bold tactical approach.

Therefore, it was a major coup for the Whites to bring the former Marseille boss to Elland Road and he has settled to life in the Championship with ease.

Leeds have picked up maximum points, as well as progressing in the Carabao Cup, after beating Stoke and Derby with superb performances.

And, Warne has admitted it will be a different experience for him as he comes up against a coach of Bielsa's calibre.

"It's strange to be coming up against someone as a manager who has such a high profile, but that's the joy of football," he told the Yorkshire Evening Post.

"It's a bit surreal but we'll spend the next two days showing the lads how we think we can cause problems."

The Millers picked up their first win of the season against Ipswich last week with a 1-0 victory.

The Verdict

This will be a fantastic challenge for Warne to come up against Bielsa - as it will be for the rest of the coaches in the Championship.

It should give the Rotherham boss and his side a lift knowing they are taking on such a high-profile manager in what will be a fiery Yorkshire derby.

However, it's important that the players just play their normal game and focus on delivering the performance that Warne wants from them.
