Nottingham Forest had a very busy summer under Sabri Lamouchi, with the new Reds boss making plenty of signings to strengthen his squad ahead of the summer.

And, the recruitment on the whole was superb, with many of the signings playing a key role in Forest's fine start to the campaign which has helped the side to second in the Championship.

However, one man who hasn't made a huge impact is central defender Chema and here we look at the reaction to the arrival of the former Levante man for our FLW Rewind...

So far, the 27-year-old has featured in just two Forest games in the Championship, replacing Michael Dawson in the win at Stoke before starting in the victory over Brentford last time out and he has impressed.

But, the issue for the left-footer is that he is expected to lose his place to Dawson at Wigan on Sunday, with the experienced centre-back and Joe Worrall undoubtedly Lamouchi's preferred partnership.

Plus, he is competing with Tobias Figueiredo to be the third choice and it's not clear who the boss prefers on that front, with the Portuguese defender also playing in Dawson's absence.

Whilst it would be totally unfair to say that Chema has been a bad signing, as mentioned he has actually done well when he has featured, the main concern among the fans was that he wasn't needed.

With Yohan Benalouane and Alexander Milosevic other options for the manager you can understand where they were coming from.

It's an area that the squad is extremely well-stocked in and the harsh reality is that they probably didn't need Chema who has just added to the wage bill.

Of course, he could go on to play a prominent role if injuries hit again, so it will be interesting to see how his time at the City Ground is viewed in six months time.
