Richie Wellens extends his stay with Doncaster Rovers

Richie Wellens has confirmed he will not be leaving the club by signing a new two-year deal with Doncaster Rovers, according to teamtalk.
Rovers manager Paul Dickov revealed last week that two players, Richie Wellens and Paul Keegan, have signed new deals in principle, with the view of them both signing official deals to them at Keepmoat in the future.
Keegan put pen to paper on a new deal to keep him at the club until 2017, meanwhile Wellens signed a two year contract.
The midfielder had a spell with Rovers between 2007 and 2009 and made a return last year when he made a move form Leicester.
The man, who had trained with Manchester United as a youngster, has gone on to make 137 appearances for the Doncaster side.
