They're eighth as we move into the business end of the season, perfectly poised for a play off assault.

Speaking to the Sheffield Star, defender Richard Stearman has revealed what he feels is the all-important aspect driving the Blades on this season.

"We enjoy the way that we play and has proved successful," the defender said.

"I think it gives you an extra few per cent as well; if you are enjoying what you are doing. We certainly do on the pitch and in the dressing room and training ground and long may that continue."

The Blades travel to Fulham this evening for a vital clash that could make or break their promotion charge and with both sides playing attractive football, it promises to be a great advert for the Championship.

"The way we play is quite unique and has caused a lot of teams problems in this division. Fulham are possibly one of the best footballing teams in this league along with Wolves and possibly ourselves. It should pose for an attractive game."

Stearman made over 200 league appearance for Wolves before a switch to Fulham for a fee of £2m. His spell at Craven Cottage never got going and he move to Sheffield United for an undisclosed fee in the summer.
