Leeds United have not had the most successful season this year with them looking short of the play-off places.

Thanks to a mix of seriously inconsistent form and an abundance of suspensions, the men from Elland Road have both looked like league title contenders early on and now mid-table also-rans.

Of course, there is still an outside chance that they'll get into the top six this season if they can go on a big run but it is more than likely they'll start thinking about next year sooner rather than later.

With that in mind, then, we took to asking Leeds fans yesterday who their ideal summer signings would be in the next window ahead of another play-off push.

Let's take a look, then, at the three the Whites would like to see more than anyone else...

Kent has moved to Bristol City on loan for the remainder of the season from Liverpool and is looking sharp.

He knows the league from his time at Barnsley and he certainly looks a player capable of some devastating performances in the second tier.

Leeds fans have clearly noticed that, too, with him coming top of the pile in this vote.

Despite the midfield options Leeds have, as well as Yosuke Ideguchi still to come in, Whites fans clearly feel more is needed in the centre of the park.

Josh Vela comes in second in our vote, then, with his industry in the middle of the park something that has caught the eye.

It's also a nod to the jury remaining out on a number of Leeds' central midfielders.

Finally, Jack Marriott came in third out of all the players we put forward to Leeds fans.

The Whites perhaps didn't get the proven striker they'd have liked in the window just gone and so that will be a target in the summer.

Fans of the club clearly like what Marriott is doing at the moment though he'd still need to prove himself at this level.
