Despite some recent disappointing results, Swansea City are still well in the hunt for promotion from the Championship this season.

The Swans are still within touching distance of the automatic promotion places, with games in hand on those around them, and there are plenty of players in their squad who would be earning their money if they can take the club back to the Premier League.

But just who are Swansea City's highest earners at this moment in time?

Here, we've taken a look at the top ten best paid players in Steve Cooper's squad, according to Salary Sport.

The midfielder, who has already made over 120 appearances in all competitions for the Swans, reportedly earns £8,100 per week, or £421,200 per year.

Woodman is currently in his second consecutive season-long loan spell with Swansea, having first joined from Newcastle in the summer of 2019.

The goalkeeper, who has established himself as Swansea's first choice between the posts while at the club, apparently earns £9,300 per week, or £483,00 per year.

Next up on this list, is midfielder and Swansea club captain Matt Grimes, who has 18 months remaining on his current contract at the Liberty Stadium.

The 25-year-old, who is closing in on 150 appearances for the club, reportedly takes home £10,000 per week, which equates to £520,000 per year.

A summer transfer window signing from QPR, Manning has endured a frustrating start to life at Swansea, making just seven league appearances.

The versatile 24-year-old apparently also takes home a salary of £10,000 per week, which again works out at £520,000 per year.

Another player who recently left QPR to join Swansea who takes a place on this list, is left-back Jake Bidwell.

The 27-year-old, who made the move to the Liberty Stadium in the summer of 2019, is said to another who reportedly earns £10,000 per week, or £520,000 per year.

Having joined Swansea from Wigan in the summer following the Latics' relegation from the Championship, Lowe has wasted no time in making an impact at Swansea.

The attacker, who is the club's second highest scorer with nine league goals this season, takes home £12,000 a week, or £624,000 a year.

One of Swansea's longest-serving players, Naughton joined the club from Tottenham just over six years ago in January 2015.

Since then, the right back has gone on to make over 200 appearances for the club, and apparently earns £14,000 per week, or £728,000 per year.

A graduate of Swansea's academy, Roberts is a player who has gone on to make himself a key figure in the club's defence with the presence he provides.

The Welsh international, who has a year-and-a-half remaining on his current contract, is also said to earn £14,000 per week, or £728,000 per year.

A summer signing from Wolves, Bennett has made 18 league appearances for Swansea since the start of this season.

Perhaps not surprisingly given his top-flight pedigree, the centre takes a place high on this list, apparently earning £23,000 per week, or £1.196million per year.

Sitting top of this list by quite some distance, and also claiming the title of the Championship's highest paid player, is Andre Ayew.

The striker, who is Swansea's top scorer this season with ten league goals, reportedly earns a massive £83,000 per week, or £4.316million per year.
