Sunderland have got another big weekend ahead of them as they continue to prop up the Championship table.
The men from the Stadium of Light have seen a bit of a revival in recent weeks but plenty of the sides around them have done the same meaning that they are still bottom.
Thinking of having a punt this weekend? Take a look at the coupons we’ve picked out on the Football FanCast Accy Show before you put your money down! First up, we’ve selected a Premier League goalscorer treble which offers terrific LeoVegas boosted odds. For those who like to spread the odds across the pyramid, we’ve also put together a very tempting fourfold of outright wins from the EFL. Check it out and be sure to let us know what you think!
Even so, things are a lot tighter down at the bottom of the league now and so Chris Coleman and his men will know that maintain their form right now should begin to see them climb the table.
Whilst we wait to see if they can do that, though, The Sun has reported that the club is interested in signing Jon Walters from Burnley.
The experienced star is a good player and experienced pro that might jump at the minutes that Sunderland could offer him over Burnley at the moment.
We asked Black Cats fans, then, whether they expected such a deal to go through this month:

It appears, then, most do not see the club being able to sign the forward this month and so it remains to be seen if Coleman can pull off what might come as a surprise to his club’s supporters.
