Footage has emerged of Blackburn Rovers playmaker Bradley Dack back training, which has drawn an excited response from fans of the North West club.

The 26-year-old has been sidelined since December when he suffered an ACL injury against Wigan – an issue he was forced to have surgery on.

Rehabilitation from such an injury can be a long and frustrating process but back in March, Dack revealed he was ahead of schedule and targeting returning to match action in September.

That is just over two months away and yesterday footage emerged of the attacking midfielder back training and looking pretty impressive at that.

Alongside the clip, Dack provided an update on his progress, indicating to fans that he was "feeling good".

The 26-year-old has been Blackburn's talisman since arriving at Ewood Park three years ago – adding 46 goals and 24 assists in 114 appearances.

Despite the absence of their key man in the final third, Tony Mowbray's side have impressed in the second half of the season and are in the race for the play-offs.

After a comprehensive 3-1 victory over fellow top-six hopefuls Bristol City last weekend, Blackburn are eighth in the table as things stand – one point outside the play-off places with eight games to go.
