Leeds United take on West Brom in a highly-anticipated six-pointer at Elland Road on Friday evening, and Marcelo Bielsa's team selection has raised debate amongst supporters.

One man whose place in the starting XI has come under scrutiny is Tyler Roberts, who has struggled in recent weeks, including in the defeat to QPR.

Roberts looked out of place and was partly at fault for the only goal of the game, with Luke Freeman's strike proving to be the difference between the two sides in midweek.

The youngster gave the ball away cheaply and it meant that Freeman fired in from close-range early into the second-half.

But Bielsa revealed to Leeds Live in a pre-match press conference ahead of their game against West Brom that his team will remain unchanged for this evening's game.

Roberts will certainly be feeling fortunate about retaining his place in the side, as his performances of late haven't warranted him starting the game against West Brom this evening.

But he will also feel as though this could be his last chance to prove to Marcelo Bielsa what he can offer this Leeds team this season in the No.10 role.

Roberts has been playing in an unfamiliar role recently and it doesn't seem to be suiting him as well as first hoped. The 20-year-old Welshman has looked out of place at times, and Leeds fans will feel as though someone like Izzy Brown would be better suited to the position that Roberts currently holds in this Leeds team.

It's going to be a crucial game for Leeds against a West Brom side that will overrun the Whites midfield, and Roberts certainly needs to do all he can to impress Bielsa ahead of some important games as the season heads towards its conclusion.
