Many Hull City fans have congratulated new signing James Scott on his successful operation after he injured himself in training shortly after making the switch from Motherwell.
The 19-year-old striker made the move from Scotland to East Yorkshire in January and it was reported that City had ‘unearthed a gem’ after he made the 1.5 million pound switch to the KCOM stadium.
Although likened to the attributes that the former Jarrod Bowen possesses, with his ability to change direction and move directly with the ball, the teenager will have to wait to showcase these qualities in a City shirt.
Scott will have the rest of the season to recover and the summer to prepare for a new campaign where the Scottish forward will feel like a new signing.
Whilst he was provided with a minor setback after suffering an unfortunate training ground injury, news emerged that Scott had a successful operation to which he took to Twitter to announce the news:
Op done! Went great. Thanks to the Hull physios and everyone at Fortius Clinic for looking after me. Time now to rest and get back to full fitness and kick on next season!!👊 @HullCity pic.twitter.com/CMmSZfOpRI
