Leeds United will be looking to have a big summer window in order to improve on a tough 2017/18.

The men from Elland Road had high hopes for the season just gone but ended up falling well short of where they wanted to be - in the top six.

Paul Heckingbottom and co. will be looking to have a window where they improve the squad greatly, then, but it looks as though John McGinn might not be a potential arrival.

Indeed, a fan got in touch with Phil Hay on Twitter to ask whether there was a chance that the Hibernian midfielder would arrive in the summer or if there was any interest and it looks as though things have cooled:

The Verdict

Certainly, McGinn would be a good addition to the club's midfield with him possessing plenty of tenacity and bite in the middle of the park, as well as good quality on the ball.

Similar to Adam Forshaw in that sense, then, it looks as though the Whites are perhaps happy to look elsewhere to spend their money this summer.

That is how it stands at the moment according to Hay, at least.
