Leeds United look to finally be getting back on the right track this season, with Marcelo Bielsa bringing his attractive brand of attacking football to Elland Road.

The Whites are right in the promotion picture as it stands, and many people believe that this could well finally be the year for the Yorkshire club as they seek a return to the top flight.

And one man who thinks the club are way below where they should be is respected journalist Ollie Holt, who told Sky Sports' Sunday Supplement that he believes Leeds are as top six outfit.

“If I had two clubs that I think it is a waste (of their potential at the moment), it would be Newcastle and Leeds, and at least Leeds appear to be getting back to what they once were. Newcastle and Leeds should be top six (in the Premier League) in my opinion, they are great English clubs." Holt said, with comments provided via Leeds Live.

“And what I see going on at Newcastle…it is toxic and it is a shame."

The comment will no doubt spark some debate among football fans in general, with a consensus that clubs are where they are on merit. However, Holt's comments do have some substance to them, and it is indeed a great shame that Leeds have not managed to get back to the top flight.

This season would appear to represent their best chance of success, with owner Andrea Radrizzani clearly intent on seeing his side make the jump back into top flight football.
