Nottingham Forest boss, Martin O'Neill's future at the club has been cast into serious doubt, according to Greek newspaper, Sportime.

The report claims that pressure is growing on the Forest boss after a poor run of results which has seen the Reds slip away from the play-off chasing pack.

O'Neill has only won five of his 15 league games in charge of Nottingham Forest, and it's certainly been an underwhelming spell in charge for him.

He took charge of the team as Aitor Karanka's successor, with many supporters seemingly unhappy with the decision to dismiss the Spaniard.

Forest owner, Evangelos Marinakis is reportedly open to finding a replacement for O'Neill in the near future, after such a disappointing spell with the club.

Marinakis is said to be looking at potential candidates that are known to 'Greek territories', with no names being mentioned as of yet.

Forest will be hoping that any potential new manager that would arrive would be able to turn the club's fortunes around quickly.

Marinakis has already shown that he doesn't have a considerable amount of patience for managers that don't pick up positive results, with O'Neill being the 12th manager Forest have had in the last ten years.

The Verdict:

This wouldn't come as a surprise.

O'Neill hasn't made the impact he will have hoped for with Nottingham Forest and I'm surprised that the Reds have persisted with him for so long.

Results haven't improved this season, and he's not done any better than what Aitor Karanka did at the club.

I'd be stunned if he was still manager of Forest by the start of next season.
