Norwich City aren't reportedly pursuing a deal for Sheffield United full-back Jayden Bogle, according to the Eastern Daily Press.

Bogle has been with the Blades since 2020, after arriving from Derby County, and he's gone on to play his part for Sheffield United this term.

He made 21 appearances in the 2020/21 season for the Blades, although his efforts weren't quite enough, as they were relegated into the Championship after a disappointing league campaign.

It appears as though some of Bogle's strong performances haven't gone unnoticed though, with Norwich City previously being credited with interest in signing the 20-year-old this summer (Sky Sports' Transfer Centre, Monday 21st June, 16:02).

The Canaries will be preparing for life back in the Premier League, after winning promotion from the Championship under the management of Daniel Farke.

But it appears as though Bogle isn't a player that Norwich are targeting this summer, with the Eastern Daily Press revealing that they newly-promoted side aren't targeting a move for the full-back as a potential replacement for Jayden Bogle.

Sheffield United are set to get their 2021/22 season underway in the coming months, when they host Birmingham City at Bramall Lane on 7th August.

The Verdict:

It'l be interesting to see whether he remains at Bramall Lane.

Bogle has impressed me in recent seasons, and I think he's more than good enough to be playing his football at a higher level than the Championship.

With Max Aarons' future at Carrow Road remaining unclear heading into the 2021/22 season, you could understand Norwich's logic with a potential move for Bogle.

But there doesn't seem to be any concrete interest from the Canaries in Bogle, which might be slightly frustrating for the defender heading into the new league campaign, which is set to get underway in August.
