Blackburn Rovers are not interested in signing goalkeeper Warner Hahn on a free transfer according to Lancashire Live, contrary to other reports suggesting that they are keen.

One of Rovers' main targets in the summer window last time out was to change up their goalkeeping options and that is what they did.

Thomas Kaminski, Antonis Stergiakis and Aynsley Pears all arrived at Ewood Park as Tony Mowbray changed it up and it appears as though he won't be looking now to add further in terms of players for between the sticks.

Hahn is currently a free agent after leaving SC Heerenveen in the summer and speculation was persisting last month that Rovers were still looking at him.

Lancashire Live, though, is of the opinion that that is not the case at the moment and Mowbray is happy with what he has.

The Verdict

It's probably little surprise to see cold water poured on this rumour, in all honesty.

Blackburn have several options in goal and it would make little sense for another one to arrive, so soon after Mowbray decided to completely overhaul what he has in the summer.

Blackburn have had a decent start to this season with them scoring plenty of goals and it is now consistency they will be seeking as we head towards the most hectic time of the campaign.
