Through Aser Ventures, Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani has reportedly entered into a strategic partnership with US-investment fund Corrum Capital Management and become a shareholder of a platform with links to the likes of Neymar Jr and Lionel Messi.

Throughout the current campaign, there have been reports linking QSI, the owners of PSG, with potential investment in the Yorkshire club.

A report from Insider Media has revealed that Radrizzani has agreed a deal but it is not one directly concerning investment in Leeds.

The report claims that the company behind Leeds, Aser Ventures, has entered into a strategic partnership with Corrum Capital Management a US-based investment fund.

It is thought that deal could help Radrizzani expand its financing opportunities for its current portfolio.

Additionally, it sees Aser become a shareholder and strategic partner of a football media platform called OTRO, which features content from players such as Neymar, Messi, and David Beckham.

Radrizzani completed his full takeover of Leeds in May 2017 and has helped them transform themselves into serious promotion contenders since.

The arrival of Marcelo Bielsa has brought them the most success, with the Whites finishing third last season and currently sitting top of the Championship.

The Verdict

It remains to be seen what impact, if any, this deal will have on Leeds and future investment.

It may interest Whites fans to see that Radrizzani is still keen to do business despite the current Covid-19 crisis.

The deal that they will most likely concerned about is a potential takeover from QSI, whose funding could be key to helping Leeds establish themselves in the top flight.
