There was another statement victory from Leeds United at the weekend, with Marcelo Bielsa’s side winning 1-0 at Bristol City.  

Leeds were 4-0 winners against West Bromwich Albion the week before and backed that up with another clean sheet at Ashton Gate.

Patrick Bamford’s goal separated the two sides, with Leeds putting in a professional second-half performance to keep the home side at bay.

Yet, the performance of Leeds did bring criticism from some Bristol City fans, with one supporter writing in the Bristol Post and stating he hopes Norwich City and Sheffield United secure automatic promotion ahead of the Whites.

The writer states that Leeds’ ‘professionalism’ was the reasoning for that as it didn’t sit well with him.

And, as expected, that sparked plenty of discussion amongst the Leeds fanbase, with plenty of supporters moving to criticise the Bristol Post piece.
