West Brom got back to winning ways last night as they beat Hull City 1-0 at The Hawthorns.
In truth, it wasn’t a game that will live long in the memory for many fans, with Valerien Ismael’s men just about doing enough to come through against a struggling Tigers side.
However, as well as the points, one major positive was the performance of Taylor Gardner-Hickman.
With Darnell Furlong suspended, Valerien Ismael opted to give the 19-year-old a start at right wing-back and he repaid the boss with a very impressive display.
Are these 10 facts about West Brom actually true?
The youngster was a constant threat down the flank with his energy, whilst he showed composure on the ball and was assured defensively. And, it’s fair to say he made an impression on the home support, who were delighted to see the academy graduate perform so well in a league game.
Here we look at some of the reaction to Gardner-Hickman from Twitter…

Poor performance tonight against a Hull side there for the taking. Gardner-Hickman was brilliant, made it look simple & didn't put a foot wrong 👏🏾👏🏾 Lack a solid number 9 & a creative midfielder that can unlock a defence. #WBA

3 points is 3 points, but more than anything else I’m really hoping that Taylor Gardner-Hickman’s outstanding performance will boost his and his academy teammates chances of making it into the first team! Really promising from the #WBA youngster tonight
