It's fair to say Nottingham Forest have had their fair share of poor strikers in the last five years.

They've also had some excellent ones, most notably Britt Assombalonga, who departed the club for Middlesbrough in a major transfer in the summer.

However, who has been THE worst Nottingham Forest striker in the last five years?

We take a look....

Chris Gallagher

Lars Veldwijk.

The Dutch forward arrived with a big reputation after scoring goals for fun in his homeland.

However, things didn't go to plan here and after paying up to £1m for him, Forest got 12 games and no goals from their new signing.

He has since scored goals at various other club's but he remains one of Forest's worst recent signings and strikers.

Adam Simeoni

How could I not go for the man, the myth, the legend that is Lord Nicklas Bendtner.

The former Arsenal forward has become something of a cult hero due to his shocking form in the English game, and a shock transfer to Nottingham Forest did not help his cause.

Not too many moments to get excited about for Forest fans during his spell at the City Ground, the Dane now plies his trade in Norway.

Alfie Burns

The infamous Nicklas Bendtner.

The former Arsenal striker, for all his critics, is not a bad striker, but at Forest he was hardly impressive, scoring twice in 17 appearances.

The striker has played for some huge clubs around Europe, and should have found the Championship a breeze, but he didn’t.

A huge regret for Forest.
