Norwich City are back in the Premier League, after a phenomenal season in the Championship under Daniel Farke.

The Canaries have exceeded all expectations this season and their promotion to the top flight was finally confirmed at the weekend, with a 2-1 win over Blackburn Rovers at Carrow Road.

Norwich can clinch the Championship title with a point against in-form Aston Villa at the weekend, to finish off a remarkable season.

Farke deserve enormous credit for the way he has been able to achieve success at the club this season, recruiting smartly and giving young players a chance.

One of the more experienced players who has been highly influential for Norwich this season though, is 30-year-old defender Timm Klose.

The Swiss centre-back is out of contract at the end of the season and could leave the club on a free transfer in the summer.

Rangers are reportedly interested in signing the defender, as are Turkish giants Fenerbahce, but Klose may want to stay at Norwich and play in the Premier League next season.

Here we look at THREE potential paths for the player this summer...

Stay at Norwich City

Klose has been an important player for Norwich City over the past few seasons. His commanding performances on the pitch have seen him become a fan favourite at Carrow Road and he may want to remain at the club.

Farke was keen to keep the centre-back at the club this time last summer and Klose is currently in talks with the club over a new deal.

Klose was originally bought by Norwich to try to keep the club in the Premier League and the defender may want another opportunity to experience top-flight football in England.

Move to Rangers

If he does leave Carrow Road in the summer, he may want to move to the Scottish Premiership, with Rangers reportedly keen on signing him, according to The Sun (April 28, page 59).

Klose is a very good defender and would be a good signing for Rangers, especially if they could get him on a free transfer.

Rangers are set to lose central defenders Gareth McAuley and Joe Worrall in the summer and could do with an experienced player like Klose.

Move to Fenerbahce

If he decides to leave Norwich in the summer, perhaps Klose could be tempted by a move to Europe, with Turkish giants Fenerbahce thought to be interested in him.

Fenerbahce are thought to be looking for defensive reinforcements in the summer, with former Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel set to leave the club and Klose could be a good replacement for him on a free transfer.

The director of football is thought to have a close relationship with Klose's agent, so it will be interesting to see if this has an influence on whether he will move to the club in the summer.
