Sam Clucas is a player being linked with Wolves at the moment but it appears up in the air as to whether or not he's actually going to join the club.

According to Rob Dorsett, Wolves are looking to bring the Swansea man into their squad before the deadline passes tomorrow evening.

However, it seems as though there are contrasting reports about the player's future at the moment with Wolves journalist Tim Spiers playing such suggestions down:

Certainly, Spiers is a man who knows what's going on at the club well and so it'll be interesting to see whether his update is right or whether Dorsett is one the money here.

With less than two days left in the window, though, we won't have long to find out how things are going to transpire.

The Verdict

Clucas is a decent player but it's hard to see him starting for Wolves and so he'd very much be a squad player.

It's clear that there is interest in the player from the Old Gold but, at the same time, there seems to be different lines on how keen on him they actually are.

Let's see in the final day or so in this window what pans out.
