Nottingham Forest youngster Jake Taylor could be set for a loan move away from the club, according to reports in HITC.

The youngster is reportedly being tracked by a host of League One and League Two clubs, with the highly-rated in high demand.

Yet to make a first-team appearance for the Reds, Taylor has become a regular in the U23 side, and is set for a bright future at The City Ground having been held in extremely high-regard by staff at the club.

Former Forest boss Mark Warburton had been credited with handing academy graduates opportunities in the first-team, but with Taylor well down the pecking order in the East Midlands, it appears that new boss Aitor Karanka is willing to sanction a loan move to see how the player adapts to the demands of first-team football.

The Verdict

Taylor is an extremely talented young player with bags of potential, and could be yet another Forest youth team star to graduated into the senior side in the coming years.

The midfielder has become a key figure in the club’s reserve side, and with interest in the player high, Karanka is making the right decision to allow the player to continue his development elsewhere for the remainder of the season.

Taylor will return to Forest a much improved player, and fans could expect an input upon his return.
