Bradford City are lining up a deal for Chesterfield striker Krystian Dennis, according to journalist Alan Nixon on Twitter.
The Bantams have hit a patch of poor form, with Stuart McCall’s side currently in the midst of a three game losing streak in the English third tier.
Now seven points from the automatic promotion spots and just two points into the playoffs, McCall’s side are at serious risk of missing out on promotion once again, with changes required in the coming weeks.
27-year-old Dennis has been in electric form for the League Two strugglers this season, bagging an impressive fourteen goals in the league, with McCall highlighting the player as a potential addition to his squad.
Alan Nixon reports that a cash plus player deal could be on the cards, with McCall keen to tie up a deal before the end of the transfer window.
Bradford are in need of a boost, and Dennis could be the man to return the Bantams to winning ways in the coming weeks.
McCall cannot afford to miss out on a top six finish this year, with his job set to be at serious risk if Bradford don’t qualify for at least the playoffs.
Dennis is banging in the goals in the fourth tier, and if he can transfer his form to the higher level, then it looks likely that the West Yorkshire side could sneak into the top six.
