Wolves are looking to keep their lead at the top of the Championship as they take on Barnsley this weekend in the second tier.

It would appear that most sides have admitted defeat in the chase for the crown in the Championship now and it really does seem as though it is Wolves' title to lose.

In many ways, then, the men from Molineux can begin to plan for the Premier League already and that is what they might be looking to do in this transfer window with certain arrivals.

They might, though, also be looking to get rid of some players that have been deemed not good enough by the club for Premier League football and that is what Tim Spiers is hinting at with his latest update.

Indeed, according to him, the likes of Ben Marshall, Michal Zyro and Roderick Miranda are all attracting interest whilst a loan deal may be sorted for Kortney Hause:

Of the four, you'd probably argue that Hause is the one they want to keep most of all as he still has a lot of talent.

Plenty of sides would want him on loan, too, so let's see where his career heads in the coming weeks.

The Verdict

Wolves were always going to look to shake their squad up in January and so that is proving.

Plenty of players on the fringes could be on the way, then, and it remains to be seen who exactly is gone by Deadline Day.
