Leeds United are licking their wounds a bit today after they lost to Newport County yesterday afternoon in the 3rd Round of the FA Cup.

The men from Elland Road made a number of changes for the game down at Rodney Parade and duly suffered with the likes of Jay-Roy Grot and Hadi Sacko failing to really impress.

For sure, then, Thomas Christiansen will have got a better idea of the players he can rely on during the rest of the season as they aim for the top six and many of them were not on the pitch.

This news comes via Phil Hay:

For sure, then, this could be a real blow for Leeds United as they look to forget what went on at the weekend and focus completely on the league.

Let's see how the news impacts them.

The Verdict

Leeds are going to miss Saiz for sure and they really need to make sure they limit the blow.

He's set to miss some big games and it'll be interesting to see how Leeds deal with his absence.
