Swansea City will have to pay PSV Eindhoven a six-figure fee if winger Luciano Narsingh plays two more games for the Welsh club, according to reliable journalist Alan Nixon.

The 28-year old arrived at the Liberty Stadium last term for a fee of around £4million, making 25 appearances for the Swans in their dismal campaign culminating in relegation from the Premier League last season.

And after keeping the Dutchman at the club, Narsingh is yet make an appearance for Graham Potter's men, with a large majority of Swansea fans believing that he isn't being played so that the club's owners do not have to pay a "six-figure fee" to PSV.

The relationship between Swansea fans and the club's American owners Jason Levien and Steve Kaplan is particularly fragile following the club's plight in recent years, and with this news surfacing, it isn't likely to become any better.

The Swans maintained their decent early season form with a solid 0-0 draw away at Middlesbrough yesterday.

The Verdict

This is quite astonishing news coming out of the Liberty Stadium - Narsingh is clearly a Premier League standard player and could have a huge impact in Potter's team this season if he was selected to play.

The news regarding the six-figure fee perhaps explains why he hasn't played a minute of football this season...
