According to the Yorkshire Evening Post’s Phil Hay, Brighton and Hove Albion are interested in signing Huddersfield Town’s on-loan duo, Izzy Brown and Aaron Mooy this summer.

Brighton’s Premier League debut is on the horizon, with Chris Hughton looking to strengthen his squad over the summer in a bid to establish to Seagulls in the top-flight next season.

Hay, who is the YEP’s chief Leeds United reporter, was asked if Leeds could be interested in signing Brown this summer, but replied insisting it was Brighton who were keen on the 20-year old, along with his teammate Mooy.

Brown joined Huddersfield on-loan during the January transfer window from Chelsea, whilst Mooy has been at the John Smith’s Stadium on a temporary basis from Manchester City since last summer.

Both players have had a significant impact in West Yorkshire this season, helping David Wagner’s side within 90-minutes of securing Premier League football.

The Terriers face Reading in Monday’s Sky Bet Championship play-off final, where Brown and Mooy will be expected to be involved, as Huddersfield look to join Brighton and Newcastle United in the Premier League.
